life, everyday {week thirteen}.

{09.11.09} friday: storytime! my friend, jaci, hosts a wonderful time of reading, song-singing and craft time with the little ones of our building in the fireside room on several fridays during the semester. wishing i was feeling better to enjoy the adorableness of this morning, jess sure did as you can see the tippy-top of her little head above the boy in blue. and that's all that really matters anyway. *smile
{09.12.09} saturday: *viewer discretion advised* my nasty pile of overflowing tissue filled with goo. with three noses to be wiped, this little basket was quickly filled to the brim...and beyond. saturday was my worst day of being wiped off the face of the coherent and responsive earth. my dear new friend, suzie, came to my rescue by whisking the girls away for a day of play so that i could sleep off my flu bugs. hard. i still just can't believe how sick i was. ree-donk-u-lous.
{09.13.09} sunday: still feeling a little blind-sided, the hubby helped get some 'touches' put together for our little "school" area. can you take a guess? ikea...i still love you.
{09.14.09} monday: i got adventurous and decided to complete table #2 all.by.myself. i know what you're thinking...it's ikea furniture, how hard can it be? well, when i open a container and a bag of bolts/screws/nail-ish looking things fall out with a piece of paper that seems to have some kind of instruction/directions on it, i get a little sweaty. thankfully, i had miley girl's help and we {and by we, i mean me...the drill may have frightened her into a place of hiding for a wee bit} finished our project in no time. ikea...have i said that i love you?
{09.15.09} tuesday: this week's pixel of sisterly cuteness. they l-ooo-ve playing on our bed...tickling, giggling and probably getting into a little too much trouble.
{09.16.09} wednesday: daddy's apple snatcher. i was too late and her pterodactyl teeth chomped right into an apple the size of her face. with a ridiculous amount of apple juice soaked into her top a few minutes later, i think she gave up on such a monstrous task of finishing her stolen treat.
{09.17.09} thursday: this just makes me completely happy! our little area still isn't finished {a black framed bulletin board hangs above the table}, but i'm loving the progress. it's such a refreshing feeling to watch your creativity come alive with the help of friends and encouragement of family. we simply swung our dining area against the far wall and placed the little white tables and stools {ikea!} in the *big* open space. and truly, the Lord expanded our apartment space...just like i asked Him to. *wink
