seriously, the most relaxing day ev-er. okay, so maybe since we've been here.

we spent the entirety of our day after church at the hubby's uncle's house about thirty minutes from where we are. the drive is straight forward and uncomplicated {i love that, considering the gazillion over and under passes that crisscross there way to oblivion}.

besides being completely wonderful that we have family nearby, our day spent in their brand-spankin'-new pool, ("shaped kinda like an eight" according to justin) with a bbq that was out of this world and more time with familiarity was just what we needed.




jessa and justin hit it off like they've grown up together in all of their four and five years of life. they played like siblings {i know what you're thinking and i mean in the best of ways *wink} - role play sword fights as peter pan and captain hook, playing barracuda in the pool, putting on award winning puppet shows and telling secrets while slurping their watermelon treat. to say the least, it was A-dorable!


we definitely look forward to many more weekends spent at their beautiful house. we had such a wonderful time experiencing true southern hospitality!


was this before or after miley helped herself to a hearty snack of dog food? for the second time. hmm...at least uncle says it was science diet.
