sweet last-ing moments.

it was about ten minutes into our family stroll this afternoon when i sadly realized, this is it. this is our last walk with you guys on this route. i was talking to my mom and dad. respectively known as 'grammy and papa'. they are here on a weekend visit because, well, it's just been too long. as we usually do at least one, sometimes two, visits per month. and it's been a long two months since they've had their snuggles with the girls. that's just too long.

anyway, back to our walk. reality snuck in my little happy cloud of existence and reminded me that this is most likely their last visit to our little house. we will be traveling for thanksgiving and christmas and then we're hittin' the road out of this front door. realization slapped me in the forehead and i quickly ruined the mood, but only for a moment. thankfully, i had my camera wrapped around my neck as i had promised myself and snapped some memorable moments of this monumental stroll. some things can never be too important. this was one of those days. to soak in every minute. to take a deep breath of fresh fall air a little more often. to feel each step through the leaf trampled ground. to watch a little more closely the interaction between a little girl and her papa. a little girl and her grammy. a special day that was a little more than important.

and these two? a love story lived out. a sweet song to each other's melody. happy thirty-one honeymoon-living years. *smile.
