life, everyday {week twenty one}.

{11.06.09} friday: just what my bouncy little monkey needs...a sucker the size of her head all to herself. this was her first experience with holding her own stick of red hardened sugar. if mommy would have let her, she could have easily polished off the whole thing.
{11.07.09} saturday: this little sign that hangs prominently on elevator car one can mean two things: one - get really excited because someone new is moving in! two - be completely sad because someone you didn't have enough time to get to know is moving out. today, it was the latter. jessa's little friend, lizzy, and her family are moving into a rental about thirty minutes from town. thankfully, we'll still get to see them on weekly occasions {including our playgroup}.
{11.08.09} sunday: i've been seeing more similarities in the girls as miley gets a little *bigger* and as i remember jess when she was little. their tarantula-like eyelashes are just one beautiful thing they share.
{11.09.09} monday: i couldn't decide if i wanted to bend down and nibble those cute little nubbins or take a picture. miley girl is really into emptying the lower cabinet of all the hot sauce and spice jars and taking a seat in her new found small space.

{11.10.09} tuesday: play-doh isn't always a mom's best friend, but i've grown to appreciate the endless minutes of entertainment it provides. though still not lovely to dig out of the carpet once smooshed, it's creative opportunities make up for it. today's special creations? crabs, dolphins, and crazy mohawk hair.
{11.11.09} wednesday: it was daddy day! the hubby miraculously didn't have *too much* to do this afternoon so we took advantage by going for a walk to you-know-where. free coffee and hubby time = this wife's favorite treat!
{11.12.09} thursday: this piece of pixel perfection is quickly voted a favorite in my photo files. these are "the twins". also known as little friends, caleb and alethia. two of the cutest people that share d.n.a. that i've ever met {if that's how being a twin works...?}. anyway, jessa is such a sweet friend by giving them rides on the back of the tricycle around the courtyard. here they are switching turns for the ump-millionth time. *smiles
