life, everyday {week twelve}.

{09.04.09} friday: thanks, mama, for *birthing* me! *wink. wishing i could have spent the day with you! instead, i had to settle with my new b-day purchase...the cutest piggy bank ev-er {@ only $4.98; target, have i told you how much i love you?}!
{09.05.09} saturday: it's time for cinderella to put her apron back on. but today, i decided to get a little creative with the daily chores. a stainless steel reflection is sure to keep me going...for at least two more minutes. chores. bleh. {and she resumes chanting "joy. joy. joy." in her doubtful brain}
{09.06.09} sunday: one of the many reasons i heart sunday school for the wee ones; they bring home adorable things like this. this is a first for ms. miley girl and it makes the innards of my artistic heart all warm and squishy. her first masterpiece {notice the little scribbles of pink crayon?} displayed prominently on the fridge next to sister's works of art.
{09.07.09} monday: mondays for the hubby look like this: work from 4:30am - 12:30pm and spend the rest of the day studying in preparation for a new school week. and reading books like this one...that leave me wondering...really? shouldn't.this.have.already.been.covered? i mean, right?
{09.08.09} tuesday: our floor kicked off the new semester by having a progressive italian dinner party. it was so much fun helping plan such an interesting and creative way to get to know each other and our apartments. everyone that was involved help make a course of the meal and served it from their own house. at 6:30pm, we all met in the hallway to introduce who made what. each family left their door open, grabbed their dinner plate, and roamed the hallways helping themselves to an array of italian cuisine. it was so much fun! in case i wasn't 'home' when my guests arrived, i made a little welcoming sign as they entered. we're already planning our next one, but with a mexican flare!
{09.09.09} wednesday: the precious pondering of a princess. we found this little dress-up outfit for jess at the free shop. she thinks she looks like jasmine, but mommy thinks she looks much prettier than that. she literally had to *squeeze* herself into it, not caring that she'll only get to wear it for a few times before it gets put in the box for miley.
{09.10.09} thursday: *blink*. the week is over {with a whooshing sound left in the dust}. at least it ended with the sweet season of football starting. no more preseason. it's time to get serious. and serious we are. *wink
