{09.19.09} saturday: finally, a super relaxing day. full of refreshment, family, and friends, we were able to laugh together and enjoy a day at the aquarium.
{09.20.09} sunday: appropriately perfect? why yes, yes it is.
{09.21.09} monday: first, and foremost, i want to send a shout out to my eldest brother for his birthday today! happy 31! you've officially started on the other side of thirty...and survived. *wink. you're a hard working, successful business owner, a loving husband and father of two, and one of my best friends who i can count on and confide in. i love you, bro! and this...this picture? it makes a fresh smile escape my mouth. her happiness that dance {that's what she was performing while sitting} brings is completely exhilarating to not only her, but me as well. she's bouncy and up-beat. hoppity and twirly. excited to spin and jump to form her own kind of beat.
{09.22.09} tuesday: it's all about simple {and quite delicious} meals when the hubby works late nights. we missed you tonight, hunny. and saved you some leftovers. *wink
{09.23.09} wednesday: jessa was overjoyed to show her welcoming artwork to grammy. the night before the big day, she envisioned the reunion, stating this: "grammy will see it, give me a big hug and cry. she will cry, mama."
{09.24.09} thursday: i knew this day would come...i knew it would come too quickly. sure enough, i took a breath and she turned 18 months today. it was bound to happen. i couldn't describe her any better than a little tornado monkey that is fully an 18 month old in every aspect. mischievous. adorable. quirky. silly. adorable. goofy. funny. adorable. adorable. adorable. and she knows what team to root for even though we've been plopped in the middle of cowboy territory. happy one year and a half, baby girl!
