life, everyday {week four}.

{07.10.09} friday: feeling a little guilty and completely spoiled all at the same time. those two always seem to go hand in hand. we brought home this as a [super] early birthday present...for me. the reason? well, it was at costco (a whole half hour away) and it was the last one. so yes, irrational and quite spontaneous, but i couldn't let it go home with anyone else. i just couldn't. guilty because i shouldn't be getting anything for my birthday this year. or for the next four years. spoiled because it's a beautiful six drawer organizer that i use for a buffet (or toy box. whichever) in the dining room.
{07.11.09} saturday: miley a-d-o-r-d-e-d matt. like a lot. he treated us to dinner after an afternoon of splashing in the pool.
{07.12.09} sunday: does she really do anything else? i think not.
{07.13.09} monday: what's better than snuggling little piggies all day? not much that i can think of.
{07.14.09} tuesday: despite our new floor fan that is more like a new member of our family, the hubs and i can't seem to get a decent night's sleep. it's been...what?...20 nights now and i'm not sure if it's the heat, and the fact we can't seem to keep our thermostat properly regulated, but i'm a little tired of losing sleep (pun totally intended).
{07.15.09} wednesday: so far, tv hasn't been miley's thing. she doesn't enjoy sitting for too long at a time, which is fine by me. she would rather explore. investigate. make messes for big sister to pick up (i'm not kidding either). that is, until today and the discovery of barney. the tv stopped and with her little hands folded in front of her, she was glued. we've never seen her so intrigued by the songs, lights and colors that illuminate themselves from the screen.
{07.16.09} thursday: with sleepless nights continuing, a morning ritual has turned into a daily survival tactic. with the hubby's new job at starbucks, maybe our mornings will start having a sweeter aroma, eh?
