mixed signals.

happy june!

this month has many things in store for our family that we are looking forward to immensely. if today's weather summed up the beginning of these 30 days then somebody help us. please?! it was completely gusty with dust flying. with a few expectations slightly altered.

here's what unfolded: woke up to a still broken car. a very ill toddler. a crabby, screaming baby at 5am. a pms-ing mom (ooohhh dear). a sick husband. locksmiths being closed. laundry still becoming mountainous. etc. etc. etc.

by the end of the day my perspective on expectations flew out the window with the gusts of wind. wonderfully, we had a toddler feeling much better riding the lawn mower with her daddy, who was also feeling better. a car well on its way to being fixed (and it's only costing 15 bucks - yesss!). a mom who never developed "one of those" headaches (awesome) and who accomplished quite a bit of packing, tossing and donating. and lots of giggles outside with some pretty cute pictures captured. overall, a day worth hanging in for to watch things unfold beyond my expectations.

i love days like these. well...kinda.
