things to be happy about:
the fact that i get a warm garage to park my freezing cold subi in.
have i mentioned the gorgeous views?
more built-ins to fill with decorating goodness. how awesome is that? totally! (i might have a small obsession with built-ins too)
an actual 'play area' for the girls to go crazy in that is hidden at one end of the living room behind a super large retro green couch (which very well could also be something to be happy about? this baby is made to impress. it's huge. and also why it was allowed to stay.)
bambi on the wall? weeeell, maybe not. bambi is literally bolted to the cinder block. bolted. and i know you know exactly what i'm talking about when i say bambi. you know.
my kitchen island-ish thing. happy dance for more counter space!
we get to enjoy another wood burning stove as our source of heat. warm and cozy all over.
a loooong hallway for jess to run down (did i just say running in the house?). great for bouncing balls down with all the doors shut along the way. these were some of my best memories in my childhood house. hallways are sweet play space, no? bowling anyone?
the fact that i can open the big windows to let in beautiful sunlight without worrying about creepy peeping people. it was just a thing of mine.
i can reach my highest kitchen cabinets! this is a thing of beauty.
we ALL love it out here.
Sounds like a great place!
