18. the true meaning of the candy cane. papa thoughtfully sent the girls a little christmas care package with candy canes, stories, nativity stickers and a sweet, lovely note. jessa was tickled, of course. after i read her the story of the candy cane, she placed the two in this formation and proudly said, "look, mommy! a heart!" aww, yes, hunny. you have found the true meaning.
