home again

the girls and i arrived safely home yesterday evening. almost twenty four hours ago to the minute. and happy to say i was in bed by 6:30 pm. yes, for the night. the girls shortly to follow. i wanted to post some of those pictures i previously mentioned.

today, i am thinking of my mama as she sails her way to london. okay, not really sailing. flying. i took her to the familiar airport yesterday. the one she had just left two days previous to this trip. she was one who had just returned from new orleans doing hard labor just to turn around and head off with gran'ma to england/london/france/italy for ten days. it's rough. really. i tried my darndest to fit my head or at least two limbs into her carry-on. no luck. i'm still here. i suppose my head needs to be at least three ounces anyway, right?

today was also busy with catch-up errands and chores from returning. cleaning out the fridge from hubby food. restocking the fridge with dinner goodness. going through the mail pile. i was so excited to receive my MOPS postcard to inform me of its start date. whoo-hoo for september tenth!

time to greet jess from coming inside from playing with myah. those girls are too cute and always so super-duperly excited to see eachother. it's been a whole eight days people! :)
