thank you, jess, for taking care of even the tiniest of God's creation.
another glimpse into her sweet soul happened yesterday afternoon. she and the neighbor girl had been playing together and found a resting spot on their porch steps. jessa looked sweetly to her and gently ran her fingers through a few strands of myah's hair saying, "myah, you so beautiful." myah is almost two and probably just wondered, what is she doing in my bubble? i am so thankful for catching these moments of tenderness.
and then again. tonight at dinner...
or should i say breakfast. i had made french toast and sausage for dinner and jess just gobbled hers up. daddy shared a bit of his with her and proceeded to get up to take his plate to the kitchen. after telling daddy thank you with gusto, jessa looked at me and said, "daddy's such a good man." just like that. simple and true. the only thing i found to escape my lips was, "yes he is".
as i've been pondering on these beautiful words she's been sharing from her mouth, i came across this picture in one of my files. after tweaking it a bit, i found a beauty within it that is indescribable. it matches my feelings for her profoundly.
jessa, you are beauty is the most rarest of places.
thank you, baby girl.
