serious fun

even though i have an orange shovel coming out of my backside, i love this picture of heidi and me. it speaks our friendship to me in so many ways. big smiles together everytime we hang out.

i spent the day at home with the girls while jacob had his golf tourney for work. i did absolutely nothing, as rain was pouring down through dark, overcast skies. gloomy. but cozy. i feel for those who golfed. i was rescued by the end of the day with a girl's night out with heidi. she had boys coming to her house and needed to evacuate. i was eager to join her out. we went scrap shoppin', noodle eatin', and shoe buyin'. see what happens when i get behind a car...not good things! *at least the shoes were for jessa :)

heidi is such a character in so many ways. i love her. we laugh at some of the most ridiculous things, which makes us laugh even more. we talk on serious life matters, confiding in eachother for faith, prayer and support. she's strong for her family. teaching mikey new things everyday and being there. she's an amazing friend to so many other women. always calling. always listening. and being there for them too. she's good at that. being there. no matter what.
