chub love

this buddy of mine has got it all. charm. looks. and squishness. my little man mikey is a fighter. he's been through so much in his short 10 months than most of us have in 30 years. and that's just it. no matter what, he is all smiles and new giggles. slobbery chin, round cheeked, single toothed grins. from ear to ear.

he is a lover of "leap", the singing alphabet frog. his floppy grover. and cartoons with his daddy. he rolls from place to place, with his rolls on his adorable arms and legs. he makes jessa laugh. and miley just wonders. he is a superboy who looks simply wonderful in hats and brown shirts. stylish hair. tickle-able toes. and sqeeze-able cheeks. he is all that. and more.

i love watching him grow in ways that prove miracles. evidence that God cares about this little boy in supernatural, special ways. his big, wonderous eyes portray a soul deep love from God that is shared with his parents everyday. inspirational. tangible. they feel the warmth of God's love through his big hugs, slimy kisses and affectionate stares. this child is a glimpse into the reality of who God is. a beautiful boy. and a beautiful God we serve.
