HAPPY EARTH DAY!
we had so much FUN celebrating earth day today! little j was mesmerized by her painted pots. she didn't want to be finished and was a little sceptical about getting paint on her hands. our little perfectionist learned to have fun being messy! :) i think grammies and papas are going to love these precious gifts from precious hands.
quite frankly, a lot happened today. my brother's 28th birthday, good times with earth day, a baby shower for m&m at the church, alexander being released from the seahawks, it felt like i went to the spa today just because i had a 'quiet' shower in the middle of the day (sweet paradise...thanks girls!), i drove for the first time with baby girl and i know i'm forgetting some things, some more important than others, but it's fun to try to remember every detail. let me tell you, it was fantabulous to get out and mingle with adult peoples tonight. it's been too long...hopefully it is the beginning of getting back into the real world. my four walls have been steadily shrinking. if i'm not imagining things, the windows started slowly growing iron bars. :)
i believe i'm finally on the road to full recovery. the sleepy groggies don't count. now, we just have to do something about this weather!
