life, everyday {week thirty eight}.

{03.05.10} friday: i never thought i'd 'leash' my child. but, here we are. i like to think of it more like a cute little pink puppy backpack {which is exactly what it is - it just happens to have a little extra long "tail" attached to the end *wink}. this little babushka needs a little restraint, if you know what i mean, in larger crowds and big, open spaces. and overall, i think she really likes puppy on her back. i mean, what little puppy-lover wouldn't?
{03.06.10} saturday: i am so so so glad i waited for the perfect piece of art for a specific wall in the girl's room. it's been an empty space in their first room they had and in their new room that they have now. but i kept putting it off, never finding just the right addition to their princess hideaway. thankfully, target heard the cry of my artistically-empty heart and came through once again. and thankfully, i wandered through the little girl's room decor section for the 103rd time, each time hoping to find something new. sure enough, the glorious "NEW at target!" sign hung magically above this adorable large canvas. i snatched it without another thought. yay!
{03.07.10} sunday: mommy had her hat on, so miley girl had to have hers. naturally.
{03.08.10} monday: when the rainbow appears in the cloud, i'll see it and remember the eternal covenant between God and everything living, every last living creature on earth Genesis 9:16 {the Message}. breathtaking. powerful. everlasting.
{03.09.10} tuesday: mommy finally remembered to get special bubble bath at the store {princess even, of course!}. bath time will never be the same again.
{03.10.10} wednesday: even though this picture was technically taken on thursday, it is what jess's week looked like tuesday through friday. during kids konference for mission week, her little passport took her through 'immigration' sending her into haiti, india, iraq, and the philippines during her very active week. she loved every minute of her studies, crafts, and games. she also did a fabulous job of filling me in on what she learned as we walked home each day after class.
{03.11.10} thursday: after class today {and after daddy's greek midterm}, we took a quick trip. this week's sisterly moment brought to you by matching pink attire, my babies being hatched, and family adventures at the zoo.

  1. I hear you on the leash...many times I considered it for Savannah, but just ended up strapping her in the stroller!
