life, everyday {week thirty two}.

{01.22.10} friday: i finally dug out these little cuties for the girls. i had brought them back from the italian market we visited on the way to venice back in may. i guess i was just looking for the right time...sure enough, it rained later that day! their excitement was pure sweetness!
{01.23.10} saturday: it's funny what a countertop can tell about your story. three of my most important possessions: my phone = a life-line to back home; my camera battery = keeps that baby goin'; my devotional read = an encouragement to stay in the Word {the bible obviously being of higher value *wink}. they were all just staring at me from their perch of priority that day. obvious to what i value.
{01.24.10} sunday: a new budding artist is among us. she hasn't discovered that white isn't very effective on white paper, but her imagination must be bigger than the absence of color on the page. she still holds it up with squeals of pride when she's done creating. white, yellow, and red seem to be the only colors she chooses out of the crayon pail. those three always constant companions to her masterpieces.
{01.25.10} monday: poor peanut kept the steady track of illness alive when she woke up with crusty eyes and a drippy nose. her little face taken over with sleepiness and breaths escaping her mouth rather than an overly stuffy nose. feel better, sweet girl...
{01.26.10} tuesday: grammy, can you guess what this is? this is a bag packed by yours truly. jess brought me into her room to show me two barbie books on top of her pillow and this; a packed bag to take to papa and grammy's for when we're ready to go. she was set. pillow. books. an overnight bag. someday, baby...someday.
{01.27.10} wednesday: there once was an "m" that needed to be painted. there once was a little girl who wanted to paint it super duper bad. there once was a mom who kept putting off the painting project out of laziness and fear of big sloppy messes. one evening, it was just right. everything was in place and the little girl was overly excited. she knew it was for baby sister, to be hung above her bed. big sister did a brilliant job. careful. clean. confident. the end.
{01.28.10} thursday: jannis came to play for a bit while his mommy and daddy had other plans. it was so nice to watch as miley and him played, chasing one another down the hallway and sharing toys unlike wee ones their age do {*wink}. jannis just had a first birthday on the 24th {same as our sweet nephew!} and is bigger than miley in height {i think?} and weight {for sure!}.
