life, everyday {week eleven}.

{08.28.09} friday: these little treasures of encouraging words are only a couple that the hubby has received on the new job for his infectious smile and his friendly way with customers. and who ever knew there was starbucks olympics? excuse me? why.haven't.i.heard.of.this? he also received a container of chocolate chip cookies and a new pin for his apron for being employee of the week {or something like that}.
{08.29.09}saturday: the inside of our glorious fridge...due to some recent blessings concerning our food budget, it is well on its way to getting full. i'm learning new strategies for organizing the puzzle-like formations of a smaller fridge. i don't even want to talk about the freezer.
{08.30.09} sunday: one day, the basket is completely empty {besides a sock or two}. and the next day? a mountainous pile of doom. how.does.it.do.that?
{08.31.09} monday: much to the girl's wonderment, there has still been plenty of moments for tickles, horsey rides and dog piles. the laughter filling the house is such a pleasant break from quiet studies. pretty much, it benefits us all.
{09.01.09} tuesday: a perfect way to start off a new month - my hubby decked out from head to toe in gym gear ready to whisk me away on a date. 'nuff said.
{09.02.09} wednesday: two sisters learning to be best friends.
{09.03.09} thursday: another display of jessa's sweet thoughtfulness brought me to tears. she was determined to make and give me my birthday card a day early. as she locked herself in my bedroom, she emerged moments later with pure excitement on her face. she was ready for me to come in. as she lead me with my eyes closed, she said "now, open!" in her usual adorable joyful voice. as i opened, she pointed to our bed, perfectly made by little loving hands with a beautiful card placed gently on the pillows. my insides became all squishy as i welled with pride. i just love that girl.
