can i even explain how excited i am? probably not in words. pretend i'm doing an extensive happy dance that i'm really not physically performing. it would scare my children and they're about to go to bed. you see where this is going, yes?
even though the warm and tingly feelings of fall are filling my season sensors, i truly have something else on my mind that is far, far more important.

this was the day we went to the aquarium together...last saturday. four days ago. chris, suzie, caleb, and alethia are pretty much the epitome of awesomeness. i know they wouldn't accept me saying that to them because humbleness also comes to mind to describe these new friends.
chris, a quadriplegic. suzie, a physical therapist. brought together by their life choices, they daily pursue to live a life of service to their King. their God. they are truly a wonderful brother and sister in Christ.
i want to ask you to pray for them this very night. chris is really sick and needs the Lord's hand to protect his weak immune system as he battles his high fever. please ask for protection on the rest of the family as they stay healthy. but especially, for chris. he basically can't get sick, as he lives a life of daily physical pain regularly.
Lord, we come humbled before Your throne on behalf of the Skinner family.
