life, everyday {week seven}.

{07.31.09} friday: we had new neighbors move in next door straight from germany. with only their suitcases in their hands, we knew we couldn't provide them with furniture, but jessa knew chocolate chip cookies would help hit the spot. she made perfect size dough balls that baked themselves into giant cookies and hand delivered them herself.
{08.01.09} saturday: a perched baby pigeon in the girl's windowsill was a special treat to have wake jess up from nap. she was thrilled! we spent the next ten minutes taking pictures and talking about the little life of this new found friend.
{08.02.09} sunday: my beautiful girl, so grown up. a child's life is like a flash of light - it's bright. it's comes and goes with a flick of a switch. and it leaves my eyes with a haze of bewilderment.
{08.03.09} monday: i don't think a cheeto puff has ever looked so cute before. sheesh girl, we need to clip those nails! pinkies out!
{08.04.09} tuesday: fort building - one of the coolest rights of childhood. daddy built the girls a super cozy fort with just the blankets and dining table. it quickly became a place of scattered little toys, puzzle making and lots more sisterly giggles. boy, that daddy sure is cool.
{08.05.09} wednesday: even princesses come in small, adorable little packages.
{08.06.09} thursday: these are a couple of the passages to my past that i've immensely enjoyed reading recently. small notes stapled in. little pictures paper clipped. cards taped with love. each word a reminder of who i was and who i was slowly becoming. a window into a girl's soul.
