life, everday {week three}.

{07.03.09} friday: my mom gave me this rectangle shape thing filled with floppy pages and a cardstock cover? it has words that form a story from left to right?...oh yeah, a book! as you can tell, it's been awhile. i feel like a pupil who needs to take notes for a proper book report. and believe me, that would make me so excited!
{07.04.09} saturday: watched america "blow out" her candles through an array of firework shows from our living room window. the most spectacular show right in front of our face offered some intriguing and diverse bursts of color and shape...but in comparison, ended in a sad grand finale.
{07.05.09} sunday: moments before leaving, daddy encouraged the girls with a little pep talk about meeting new friends at a new church. you know, the usual: don't be shy, be polite to the teacher, share, be loving and kind. so far, embracing change has gone smoothly.
{07.06.09} monday: i think pooltime has helped our wee one embrace bathtime as something to be enjoyed.
{07.07.09} tuesday: daddy is so cool that he is missed and eagerly waited for during a potty break. wish i could be that cool.
{07.08.09} wednesday: textbook? check. highlighter? check. comfy chair? check. footrest? check. dim light for reading? check. let the studying begin. with two months before classes start, the hubby has taken advantage of the early release of the book list.
{07.09.09} thursday: to be honest, it's a little strange {in the most wonderful of ways} to have the hubby home for so long. we keep up on all the chores together, have plenty of family playtime together, run errands together, make meals together...i could really get used to this jobless gig. *wink. i mindlessly grab laundry to take down and realize the stinky basket's empty. a rarity, my friends. a bizarre phenomenon. this lucky basket is smelly-good clean!
