twenty-five days of christmas #4

4. baking with my baby girl. i'm totally an out-of-the-box type of gal. this is as extravagant and glamorous as it gets in our kitchen when it comes to baking. let's just say it's the quality time that is invested rather than the quality product of goodies that comes out of the oven. i was excited to take some to our neighbors, but honestly? i don't want their tummies to get sour right before christmas. cause you just never know. did i bake them long enough? did i mix the egg properly? was the toothpick really two inches in from the pan and really clean when it came out? i just don't want to risk it. and no, i don't need them all to myself. my hips will despise my indulgence.
it is such a perfect day to be inside and smelling the house with brownie aroma. and little jessa girl may or may not be expecting a super cute new apron in her stocking this year. and it may or may not have adorable dancing ballerinas with sparklies all over it.
