14. the peaceful, cozy first snow of the twenty-five days of christmas. the first is always the best. because, really, after that point you just want it to all go away. but today was different. family arrived. snow was falling. fire was blazing. christmas lights plugged in. warmth filled the air of these four walls while the chill of the first snow falling filled the gray skies. and jessa excitedly squealing, "it's snowing!"
I do love the first snow and miss it right now. But, after that first few hours I HATE IT!
