12. jack frost. unfortunately, this is all part of the christmas season. 'tis the season for freezing cold temperatures. for frozen nostril hairs. for purple knuckles. for frosted cheeks. and most definitely, 'tis the season for frozen windows. and yes, that "brrr" is backwards because it is a picture from the inside. with the frost on the inside pane. in the house. in our house. and not just the kind that wipes off with a smudge of the finger. no, no. the kind that you scrape with the point of your fingernail to enscribe a message. with the wind chill and temperatures feeling below twelve, no wonder we have a shiver down our spines. i would love to be hospitable and all, but jack frost, you are not welcome in our house.
