so it's just kind of what happens when you send your kids into a room of twenty other toddlers. you risk the chance of bringing home something you don't necessarily want. i was thankful that my cold basically lasted about a day and that the girls didn't get it. but after MOPS this wednesday, they woke up the next few days after with drippy noses and sore throats (little coughs). i took them out yesterday for a fun day of thrifting and coffee visiting with friends and they did seemingly great. however, my judgement was a little sour and they continued into the night with the same old symptoms. their behavior during the day was impeccable, telling me otherwise of their inside ickies. unfortunatley, they paid for it last night and this morning. we were so looking forward to worshiping together this morning. how do you tell a little one that the playroom doesn't want you when you've got the curse of the snuffles?
for the moment, miley is sleeping. jessa is eating, and looking like she's about ready to fall asleep in her kix. and talking like mater from 'cars' due to her plugged up nose. a pretty pathetic combination. my poor little peanuts. this might sound selfish, but they really need to get better by wednesday, bible study starts up. i know jessa loves going to church in the middle of the week too.
