monsters in my bed

boy, was it brisk this morning as i stumbled to get miley for the third time. fall has definitely arrived. i think it's about time to remove those ac units from their window panes.

having little monsters in my bed this morning thrashing about helped warm the covers just a bit more. after the hubby left for his clock-in, clock-out job, i noticed twenty little toes wiggling around me. for the next hour, this turned into a game. a game of 'the-monsters-are-coming-let's-hide-far-in-the-covers!' you could imagine the result of static cling sheets meets gorgeous morning hair. every morning needs to be greeted with that type of beauty.

during our last visit home we got to enjoy the company of two of my lovely aunties that were in town as well. i wanted to post these pics to showcase their smiles that bring such beauty to our family.

it was such a blessing to have all of our schedules work out so that we could meet together on the same weekend. of course, we missed the hooligans gallivanting around costa rica. did i mention you guys need to get your biscuits home? like now. *she smiles. cause we miss you already.
