bestest friend

jessa and myah (super-cute neighbor friend) were playing on the sidewalk during the yard sale yesterday evening as this transpired:

little girl from up the street (whom we've never met before) asks jessa: "i'm looking for a best friend, i don't have one. will you be my best friend?"

jessa crinkles her nose in thought: "umm...no, me and myah are best friends already."

the little girl sadly said "oh, okay" and dismissed herself. this could easily be a teaching moment for jessa. at the same time, i find it completely adorable and it showcases jessa's love for myah.
