i admit.

so i have to be honest here. i do have a good reason that there are still no {new} pictures up. it turns out, after i posted on tuesday, that around 6 o'clock pm, i started getting some super duper intense pain in my right side. it was kind of moving all around, but settling in this one aggravating spot. it would move into my shoulder blades, around my lower back, into my ribs, up into my chest (making it sorta hard to breathe), all over the abdominal area and then intensify in my appendix area. kinda freaked me out and by 9:30 pm, we were off to the ER. by the way, it takes alot for me to go in the emergency room, especially knowing you're going to be there until the middle of the night. sure enough, we were home by 3 am...my appendix still in tact. however, turns out i have a rare form of an urinary tract infection. it was traveling from my bladder all the way toward my right kidney (hence the pain in my right side). guess i've never had one of those before, i didn't know they could hurt so bad. thank you for CT scans. after these last few days, my innards are feeling kind of violated. :) first, it was my gallbladder. then, my appendix. well, turns out to be my bladder and a possible kidney. four or five medications later, i am hopefully on the road to true recovery. sweet! and back to the real world...

oh, and i have to say, the girls came with us and were...well...AMAZING! the ER provides "curtain" rooms that aren't the largest. and little j was so well behaved and a fiery ball of energy (which was weird). she was in bed by 3:30 am and still woke up at 6 am. strange girl. i guess that explains the almost 5 hr. nap she took today. and our little m&m slept most of the time. go figure! :)

with that said...i admit i have a good reason. :) but photos are still a goal of mine! keep posting!
