it started out traveling on friday to the first shower in the evening at my mom's house. she had really cute decorations for little hudson and lots of ladies came to celebrate. next, i had my shower on saturday at my aunt's house, and wow! it was gorgeous! she had a formal, sit down lunch with gourmet salads, china and one of my favorite little decorations, a super cute diaper cake. it had a little soft bunny stuffed animal sitting on top. :) i feel like i can't tell my auntie "thank you" enough for all of her time and energy...and love, she put into that beautiful shower for little m. and the last due date in line was a shower for little kruse. a sweet lady threw a party at her house, a friend from their church. it was so meaningful and perfect. once again, to have all of the family celebrating for the third day in a row was just priceless. to say the least, i have just a "few" pictures from our eventful weekend. my super generous mother had a hand in each one of the showers and was exhausted as tuesday rolled around. thanks mom! :)

i took some pictures of everything i've been attempting to get accomplished this week. i have a mental list, which probably isn't the best way to do things. i spent a better part of the day yesterday cutting tags off of cute clothes and blankies...hats and socks...stuffed animals and towels...and galore, to get ready to wash. only 9 more days!!! i had to make a trip to target (yeah, had to) yesterday as well to get a few of those 'must haves' for the hospital. some girlie things that i don't think are mentionable on a blog. :) my mental list, that i really need to get onto paper, also includes still needing to clean off my dining room table from when my parents painted our rooms. it is still covered with things that are not going back into the room. things that need to go into the yard sale pile. see, i already forgot what else i was going to mention and talk about...that's how bad my memory is. as long as i remember to show up at the hospital by 9:00am on march 24th. i did put together baby girl's bouncing seat all by myself and will attempt to do the changing table project today. so, here's to still getting ready and counting down! oh, and this has to be mentioned...little j went through the whole night with dry big girl underwears! whoo-hoo little j! you're becoming such a big girl and in perfect timing! :)
