it's here.

so it really has been 7 days...already. i figured i wouldn't be posting in the morning, since well...we will be at the hospital. ah! so i just wanted to leave this...

my sweet little m&m:

as i sit here and journal about this anticipation that has been building over the last month, it all comes together in this one night. i know that as i 'peacefully' fall asleep, i will wake up and it will be your birthday. i will get to hold you in my arms. hold your little foot that is now in my ribs in the palm of my hand. kiss your rosy cheeks and perfect baby lips. your button nose will be the affection of my stare and your hands will quickly be wrapped around mine. i can't believe 9 months has gone by so quickly. i have enjoyed feeling you grow. move. hiccup. tomorrow is a beautiful new beginning for our family and we haven't stopped talking about how wonderful it will be to have you in it. you have already captured all of our hearts as we watched you on the ultrasound screen and felt you roll across my belly. your big sister squeals with delight as she jumps up and down saying "yes!" she's ready to have you with us. earlier today, she lifted my shirt to reveal you, layed both hands on my belly and said, "i love you", and bent down and gave you a kiss. i want you to know how much she has helped mommy when i couldn't do much and how happy she is to have a baby sister coming. daddy says he's nervous, but in a happy, surreal way that leaves him grinning from ear to ear. we all love you entirely and completely and can't wait to hold you! your grammy will be here in the morning to hold mommy's hand too, and to help take care of big sister. your grammy is super wonderful, always here for us when we need her. she can't wait to snuggle you just as much. i also want you to know that you are being born a day after one of the greatest holidays. today is easter sunday. the celebration of life and resurrection. Jesus is life. and he has given it to you, baby girl. we love you!
