anticipation.

this is the scene at my house. baby shower invites filling the dining room table. little m's bassinet waiting to be rocked with a wee one in it. a dear friend let us borrow this again. it's filling my heart with memories of my little j rocking back and forth, smiling through the spindle rails back at me. it will be memorable to have both of my sweet girls using the same white, quaint, charming bed for the first three months of their lives. so, here's to anticipation. these plans coming together make it surreal. it's happening. it's right before us and...wow! only 5 weeks to go!

p.s. little j just told me that she wants to ice skate. i had this vision in my head of taking her to our local rink on monday to teach her...haha, me? ice skate? what was i thinking? :)
