364 days...

...until Christmas! Ok, so a bit overboard. What can I say, I'm back home from the Christmas break and I miss the atmosphere that it brings. Yes, it's only the 27th and my house is still decorated. However, the stores are filled with aisles of Valentine "stuff" and the radio stations are no longer playing the melodies of the holiday. Sad. BUT, there is a new year upon us and the anticipation of what the Lord will do in the next 366 (leap year) days.

I can't wait to get some pictures up of what our Christmas looked like. It was definitely a blessed time. Filled with joy. Laughter. And lots of family and friends from across the world. Literally.

Our friends and family back home officially know our news, as we made our announcement this last week. We are excited to see what our future brings as we move to Dallas to attend seminary. It is a three year program that will give my husband his Masters in Theology. He will begin the Fall 2009 semester at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). Sometimes we think the Lord is crazy for calling us to such big adventures. He knows what He is doing and we know that we can trust Him. So, we have a year and a half to "plan". Organize. Sell. Pack. Anything else that involves moving your family to a different end of the country. But yes. Excited is the key word. We truly are excited. It is good to know those that support us are excited for us too. Pushing us to do God's will. Praying with us and for us.

If you are one of those, THANK YOU! :)
